Step One

Connect & Discuss Options

During our initial conversation, we’ll get to know you, your housing needs, and the role you want your new home to play at whatever chapter of life you’re in. We’ll cover everything from your family size and school considerations, to commuting needs and community preferences. Then, armed with this information, we’ll begin targeting the homes and neighborhoods that could be an optimal fit for you and your family. No matter whether you’re upgrading, downsizing, or getting a fresh new start.

Step two

Get Pre-Approved

Establishing a sound, realistic budget is vital to any successful home buying experience. And that’s the focus of this step: helping you understand all of the financial factors involved from mortgage payments and taxes, to insurance and maintenance costs so you can get pre-approved for a loan that’s within your price range, and is something you’re comfortable with. As we often tell clients, “Just because you qualify for a certain amount of money, doesn’t mean you want – or have – to spend that amount.”

Step three

Let the Search Begin

With your budget and housing needs firmly established, we’ll begin sending you listings that meet your criteria, and set you up with MLS (Multiple Listing Service) alerts so that new listings are emailed straight to your Inbox. Because as we all know, timing is everything when it comes to buying a home! After browsing these listings online and visiting the ones in person that you find appealing, we’ll then regroup and decide which home is the right one for you.

Step Four

Time to Make an Offer

Once you’ve settled on THE home, we’ll share all the relevant market and home data we have access to in helping you submit a competitive offer on it. In addition, we’ll coordinate a team of hand-picked, knowledgeable experts who will coordinate your home inspection, the P&S (purchase & sale) – and we’ll include a closing attorney once you have an accepted offer.

Step Five

Celebrate Closing Day

Congratulations! This is the moment you’ve been waiting for – closing on your dream home! On settlement day, we’ll take you through all of the final paperwork that has to be signed. Then the home, and its keys, will officially be handed over to you, so you can begin making new friends, new memories, and new goals for the future!
